peaceThis post was originally shared with my newsletter subscribers however, it's a message that I'd like to share with everyone.  Please share with others and together, let's make peace and joy last all throughout the year!I've been reflecting on the spirit of the season. As I receive good wishes from friends and family and as I peruse social media, I’m noticing two words that keep standing out – peace and joy. These words are shared more during this time of year than any other and I love them how they infuse this season! But I’ve been thinking…what if these sentiments were wished throughout the year? Imagine what our days might be like if they were shared well beyond this season.Maybe we’d share these thoughts on a snowy day in February or a sunny day in June? What if we intentionally chose to focus on wishing peace and joy with the people we encounter every day? And what if the key to making this happen started with us cleaning out a closet? As we choose to simplify our stuff, we create room for living - room for hobbies and fun and quiet time and so much more. It’s in that living, when YOU are peaceful and joyful and, in turn, you are able to more easily share it with others. This month, I wish you peace and joy and I offer a challenge to you… Together, let’s choose to let go of stuff that we never use, that we don’t like and that we don’t even know we have. Let’s give it to someone who needs it and in turn let’s create space to do what we love, what brings us joy. Let’s give ourselves this gift so we can share it with others and make this season last long after the ball has dropped. Are you with me? Are you ready to receive these gifts and give these gifts all year long?Blessings,Lisa
