  • a farm girl from the Midwestern U.S. who loves the ocean and now calls the coast of Maine home

  • a mom, wife, rescue dog lover, and tornado survivor

  • an explorer at heart with a love for rural and coastal communities, islands in the North Atlantic, the Arctic, and Antarctica

  • often seeking out sheep farms to visit in faraway places

  • an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) accredited with the International Coach Federation (since 2017)

  • pursuing a Ph.D. in Leadership & Organization Development at the University of Southern Maine

  • researching:

    • the resilience of coastal communities in Maine & Greenland

    • the experiences of sheep farmers in Maine and the North Atlantic

    • opportunities for revitalization of the wool industry in Maine and the North Atlantic

    • the experiences of women entrepreneurs in rural communities and the blue economy
