Hi, I’m Lisa! I am a researcher and consultant specializing in cross-cultural leadership development and rural entrepreneurial ecosystem development. My work in cross-cultural leadership centers on creating immersive student experiences that facilitate leadership development, while my work with rural entrepreneurs focuses on strengthening the wool value chain. These two areas intersect through a shared emphasis on cross-cultural immersion, interdisciplinary learning, collaboration, and sustainable community impact.
As a research assistant since 2020, I have conducted fieldwork in Greenland and Maine, published in peer-reviewed journals, held fellowship positions, and presented research at global academic conferences. My scholarship explores the dynamics of learning, innovation, and leadership development that emerge when diverse cultural perspectives and disciplines intersect in global educational and rural entrepreneurial contexts.
I hold a Ph.D. in Leadership with a concentration in Organization Development, a Master’s degree in Leadership Studies, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Summa Cum Laude). My interdisciplinary academic work is enriched by 16+ years of professional experience in accounting, financial reporting, and team leadership, 12+ years of coaching and consulting entrepreneurs and busy professionals, and 10+ years of nonprofit business development, program management, and governance. I taught adult education courses for four years and have delivered guest lectures on a variety of topics. I also facilitate workshops on leadership, entrepreneurship, and self-development, drawing on academic theory and practical experience from corporate leadership, nonprofit development, and interdisciplinary project management roles.
