Top 10 Benefits from My Simple Living Journey in 2014

reflectionAs I prepare for 2015, I’ve also spent some time reflecting on how my simple living journey evolved in 2014.It was a powerful year with big risks and big rewards. It surprised me in many ways and exceeded my intentions in others.Since my brain often thinks in list form, I thought I’d share a top 10 list with you. It’s my “Top 10 Benefits from My Simple Living Journey in 2014”.Here they are (in no particular order)…

  1. Less time spent cleaning (I love living in a smaller house!)
  2. Knowing everything I donated will bring joy to others
  3. Getting to visit 26 states during the year (some that I hadn’t yet been to)
  4. Getting to see snow on the beach for the first time
  5. Significantly expanding my network of colleagues
  6. Making lots of new friends from all over
  7. Getting to spend more time with my family
  8. Eating cleaner and losing some weight
  9. Having more time to read, learn & grow
  10. Spending more time doing hobbies (which have changed this year)

I could go on, but this is a fairly good sampling of the benefits I’ve experienced this year as a result of my quest for “simple”. I love that simplifying my “stuff” has positively impacted all areas of my life. What benefits have you experienced from simplifying your life?  Send me a note and share!Blessings,Lisa
