From Overwhelmed to Organized
Simplifying, simple living and minimalism...three concepts you’re likely to have heard about at some point in the past several months. Recently, Time magazine published an article entitled, “The Joy of Less”, which supports the idea that more stuff is not the answer to a happy life.As individuals from all over begin to see the value in enjoying experiences over stuff, they are searching for guidance and direction as to how to let the stuff go. It’s one thing to read about the benefits of simplifying. It’s another thing to actually take action and begin simplifying your home and your life. Figuring out where to start, deciding what to do with your “stuff” and knowing how to maintain your level of “enough” once you reach it can be overwhelming. This overwhelming feeling often results in the failure to take action. My mission is to help you achieve your goals-to get you from overwhelmed to organized. I’ve experienced the benefits of simplifying myself after selling our more than enough house and getting rid of nearly 75% of our family’s stuff. I’ve been there and I know it’s not easy. But I know the rewards are so worth the effort! If you’re stuck not knowing where to start, I can help. If you need to know how to decide what to do with your stuff, I can help. If you need someone to keep you motivated and hold you accountable, I can help. I’ve helped others who were once in the same place as you and I’d love to help you, too!If you like learning with others, then one of my group programs might be for you. I also offer individual coaching and consulting programs where we work one-to-one to achieve your simplifying goals during virtual (phone or Skype) sessions. We can focus on simplifying anything from a closet, a room, your photos, your schedule and more. This is a great option if you want personalized support and accountability. If you have the desire to simplify but are feeling stuck and overwhelmed, I’d love to talk to you-reach out to me!To Simplicity & Joy,Lisa
