Bold, Brave, Beautiful... & Simple

SIMPLEIt’s been said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. A simple thought with so. much. truth.Unfortunately, many of us will wake up again tomorrow knee deep in the world of ‘crazy busy’ where increased productivity is rewarded and more achievements mean more success. We’ll ‘survive’ our days, managing all of our things and rushing from one commitment to the next, all the while wishing our lives were simpler and that we could pause long enough to just breathe. We’ll continue longing for ‘someday’ when we can finally lie on that hammock, read that book and take that trip. We’ll dream about being more organized as we sit at another stoplight en route from here to there. And we’ll imagine what life would be like once we finally ‘get ahead’ and have our ducks in a row. We’ll dream of a time when our To Do List feels achievable and date nights with our loved ones happen more often than twice a year. This doesn’t have to be a daydream. You can take the leap and start living a simpler life today. But it’s not doing to happen if you keep doing everything the way you’ve been doing it.It’s time to Be Bold, Be Brave, Find Beautiful and Embrace Simple.I’ve always wanted to live a simple life. And over the course of my life, I discovered a critical false belief that left me trying to create a simple life in all of the wrong ways. As I share in this TED-style snippet of my new keynote presentation, “Bold, Brave, Beautiful… & Simple,” simple was there all along, throughout all of my life. I just had to embrace it. And to embrace it, I had to stop doing the same things over and over again…When I realized this and when I made the choice to embrace simple, I realized dreams.I’ve connected many of the dots from my journey thus far and I’ve realized that being bold, being brave and finding beautiful are critical ingredients to creating and living a simple life...and to realizing dreams. I’m sharing this with you in hopes that you, too, will choose to be bold, be brave, find beautiful, embrace a simple life...and realize your dreams. To Simplicity & Joy,LisaSaveSaveSaveSaveSaveSaveSaveSaveSaveSave
